  • The new proposals of Government are the reduction of the eighteen Maritime Rescue Coordination Centres (MRCC) down to eleven. All of these stations will be operating on a 24hrs basis to coordinate Search & Rescue, one on England’s South Coast will be the UK Marine Operating Centre (MOC)
  • A total of 8 Stations will close
